Welcome to Waterbear Studio. By installing and using our Chrome extensions, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Waterbear Studio extension ("Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use our extensions.

2. Description of Service

Waterbear Studio provides Chrome extensions that enhance productivity and team collaboration. Our services currently include:

• Team Calendar Sync: A Chrome extension that helps find available time slots across team calendars and automatically calculates and adds travel time to events
• Additional extensions and features as they become available

3. User Requirements

To use our extensions, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have a valid Google account
• Use a supported version of Google Chrome browser
• Agree to grant necessary permissions for extension functionality
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Account and Authentication

Google Account

Our extensions use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by:

6. Google Services Integration

Calendar Access

By granting calendar permissions, you authorize us to:

• Create calendar events for travel time
• Access location information from events

Your use of Google services through our extension is also governed by:

• Google API Services User Data Policy

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• We do not store your data on external servers
• All processing happens locally on your device or via direct API calls to Google

8. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

User Content

You retain all rights to data you input into the Service (team member names, addresses, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process this data solely to provide the Service functionality.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Travel time calculations will be perfectly accurate in all conditions
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

No Professional Advice

The Service is not a substitute for professional time management, scheduling, or travel planning services. Always verify important appointments and allow adequate travel time.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WATERBEAR STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
• Missed appointments due to incorrect travel time calculations
• Calendar conflicts or scheduling errors
• Data loss or corruption
• Damages arising from third-party services (Google Calendar, Google Maps, etc.)

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED $50 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (IF ANY), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Waterbear Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
• Change features, functionality, or availability
• Update the extension to fix bugs or add features
• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

13. Modifications to Terms

24. Chrome Web Store
